Incy Wincy Spider

This is a spider that has set up shop outside my house. It caught my fancy when I was just randomly staring outside the window and I had to try and get as close as possible to it!

This is a special dedication to Mrinal ‘Munnu’ Kalakrishnan and it is also the start of my ‘Picture a Day” Series.

The Raghu Dixit Project in the Jeonju Sori festival in Korea. We have been playing with this line up for a while now and this was the last show of the South East Asia tour. The band was fully enjoying itself on stage and this was a perfect capture.

Raghu, Vijay and me are airborne in a synchronized jump on stage!! Photo credit goes to our Manager-Sound Engineer-Photographer, Vijay Nair who seems to have gotten very good at digital photography!

Pondicherry – Unplugged

A walk along the lovely quaint streets of Pondicherry during our search for ‘Satsanga’, the french restaurant that we finally found!

As usual, Nithin Joshi, our sound engineer was clicking away and this was one of the memories that I loved from the trip!

It was my birthday a couple of weeks back and as a birthday gift the lovely Shilpa rounded up a few of my friends and got them to contribute to my “Buy a new Lens” fund!

Needless to say, my generous friends dug deep into their pockets and helped me along nicely! now its only a matter of ordering the right lens and getting it which should happen soon

Thanks again to Shilpa for getting it done and for all of you for contributing! And for the brilliant card that came with the gift! Thanks all you guys for doing this .. it is really really special!

As the clock struck 12 … I went past that milestone and into the 25- whatever age fits category … and I thank everyone for making that moment memorable!!

Thanks Shilpa for putting it together and for everyone who was present in body and spirit!

This year holds a lot of promise … lets hope most of it comes through …

This year began well for me performance wise. I played a lot more and at a lot of different places and had some tremendous experiences that will hold me good stead and build me as a musician.

The Raghu Dixit Project was the band I did most of my performing with. This has also led to other intersting projects and collaborations that seem to be taking some shape.
